Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to kitesurfing lessons, equipment rental, kite storage and kite safaris booked with Sultan Kite School Hurghada, Palma Resort, Road Al Ismaileya, District Al Ahyaa, Red Sea Governorate 84512, Egypt – whether you book through our website, by e-mail, on WhatsApp or at the kite centre. By booking with us you accept these terms.

• Your booking is confirmed once we confirm it to you by e-mail or WhatsApp.
• Prices are shown in euros on our website and include what is listed for each service.
• You can pay in cash at the kite centre in Hurghada or by bank transfer to our USD or EUR accounts. We are happy to discuss other money transfer options on an individual basis.
• To secure a place on a kite safari, the safari fee must be paid in full in advance.

• Kite safari: if you cancel more than 21 days before departure, we refund 50% of the fee. Cancellations made less than 21 days before departure are non-refundable.
• Lessons, rental and storage: please tell us as early as possible if you need to change or cancel your booking, and we will do our best to move it to another day.

Kitesurfing depends on the wind and the weather. Our instructors decide whether conditions are safe; if a lesson cannot start or has to stop for safety reasons, we arrange another time with you.

• You must be able to swim and be in good health. Tell your instructor about any medical condition, injury, pregnancy or medication before you start.
• Always follow the instructions of our instructors and beach staff and the rules of the kite centre.
• Do not kite under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Participants under 18 need the consent of a parent or guardian.

Kitesurfing is an extreme sport with risks that cannot be completely removed. Every course includes insurance for the duration of the training; we also recommend personal travel insurance that covers kitesurfing.

As far as Egyptian law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage that is not caused by our negligence, including the loss of personal belongings left unattended on the beach.

• You are responsible for rented equipment from the moment you receive it until you return it.
• Use it only in the riding area and conditions agreed with our staff, and report any damage straight away.
• Loss of or damage to equipment caused by misuse or negligence may be charged to you.

Beach use and storage include the daily beach fee, compressor, beach assistance, overnight storage, free Wi-Fi, tea, fresh water, showers and toilets. We take good care of the equipment you leave with us; it remains your property and we recommend insuring it.

Kite safaris depart from and return to Hurghada marina. The route depends on the wind, the weather and the authorities, and the captain and our guides may change it for safety reasons.

We sometimes take photos and videos during lessons and safaris and may share them on our website and social media. If you prefer not to appear, just tell us.

We use the details you send us only to answer your enquiry and manage your booking, and we never sell them. Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA. Our website itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Google Maps, YouTube videos and the Windy.app wind forecast load only when you click them; the Windy.app widget then uses Google Analytics cookies. To see, correct or delete your data, contact us.
